I originally wanted to come up with a creative direction for an ad campaign that would work in harmony with A COLD WALL* and their strong emphasis on texture engraved in the brands founding by Samuel Ross.
The challenges of this specific project were strongly connected around texture, using multiple textures, making them work in harmony with one another, and more importantly finding the fine blend without one overpowering the other, the textures I used in this project I also photographed and composited myself. I started with the creative direction, looking at past ad campaigns, seeing this strong blue tone I knew I wanted to implement, after this it was a lot of colour adjustment, painting shadows, highlights, plotting shading, and where the actual campaign material would have a dream like effect of glow.
