The direction requested from the client was creating almost a warped clock design to show emphasis on the time element in the years we have in life. I first started by looking at warped clocks, created a rough sketch of which direction i wanted the wind to be faced towards, then featured the brand name 'YEARS' intertwined within this by warping the letters to show as requested by the client how time changes, and moves fast.

The challenges of this specific project were actually more mental than digital, exercising my knowledge in lighting subjects and creating shadows in harmony with one another, visualising rim lighting, imagining a circle as a light source behind the subject, the strength of the virtual lamp, how this lamp would affect the rim lighting, the backlight, and the distance between the lamp and subject in frame.
